Antennas with directional capabilities suitable for outdoor use.
Usage: To cover longer sictances from building to building. Usually directional antennas are used on both sides of the link. In some cases it might be sufficient to use a directional on one side only and use the original euqipment antenna on the other side.

| Flat panel antennas consist of one or more radiators placed in front of a reflecting backside. With this principle short, robust and unobtrusive antennas can be designed, which have a high gain and a high bandwidth. Our flat panel antennas are made from weatherproof aluminum, all other hardware is stainless steel. The antennas can be mounted with either horizontal or vertical polarization, all mounting hardware for mast mount is included. The radome protects the antenna system against adverse weather like rain, hail or snow. | ||

Antenna cable Reverse-TNC plug to N plug, H-155 Cable suitable for all devices (Router, AP, PCI cards etc.) with Reverse-TNC connector. Other length on request. |
The PRG-2400 is a flat panel wireless LAN antenna (2.4GHz) with an empty housing. This box is ideally suited for intergation of an accesspoint our WiFi router. Due to the short cable length to the antenna the attenuation is minimal. The external connection is done with an RJ45 ethernet cable, the feed through is protected against water, as well as the box itself of course. So the electronics are always perfectly protected.
The housing PRG-2400 is an ideal solution for the setup of WiFi hotspots or point-to-point links, where the required cable length to an external antenna is too long. The inner size of the box is sufficient to install mostly any AP or router, the PCB is mounted to the solid metal backplane. The power supply is done with power-over-ethernet (POE). The antenna comes with a 12cm cable with RP-TNC or RP-SMA connector, other connectors available on request.
PRG-2400-12: Stainless mounting hardware is included for mast or wall mounting, the mounting allows pan and tilt.
PRG-2400-18: Stainless mounting hardware is included for mast mounting, the mounting allows pan and tilt. For wall mounts a separate wall holder needs to be ordered.

As a variant this housing is also available with an additional N jack on top. Here an omni directional antenna can be installed, proving all antennas for a very compact hotspot solution. The directional panel antenna provides the connection to the backbone, the omni supplies the local clients.
Suitable omni antennas by WiMo are VC-2400 or MG-200.
Instead of an omni antenna a directional antenna could be connected to the N jack, allowing for a compact repeater system for longer distances.

Bridgepoynt (18790)
The "Bridgepoynt" is a flat panel wireless LAN antenna (2.4 or 5 GHz) with a weatherproof empty housing. This box is ideally suited for intergation of an accesspoint our WiFi router. Due to the short cable length to the antenna the attenuation is minimal. The external connection is done with an RJ45 ethernet cable, the feed through is protected against water, as well as the box itself of course (class IP65). So the electronics are always perfectly protected.

iPoynt (18792.xx)
A little bit smaller and unobtrusive, with somewhat less gain than it's larger brother (see above). But sufficient for most CPE applications - still 15dBi gain on 2.4GHz and 18dBi on 5GHz.
The new 'iPoynt' antennas have a weatherproof RJ-45 connector, no need to open the case for connecting the cable. Includes a universal swivel and tilt mount for mast or wall mounting. The bottom side of the antenna offers space for installation of additional N-sockets for more external antennas (needs holes to be drilled).

Helix antennas are directional antennas for circular polarization mainly developed for satellite communications but just as well usable for terrestrial operations. Due to physics based reasons the circular polarization shows significant advantages when the received signal may consist of a mix of all kinds of polarizations due to heavy reflections. As an example: If the phase of a received signal is perpendicular to the antenna plane the resulting signal level can be up to 18 dB down compared to a normal yagi! The right-hand circular polarization originates from a helix - the antenna radiates into the direction of the helix. The reflector directs the electromagnetic energy forward; to decrease the antenna's wind load the reflector is perforated (many small holes). All antennas shown here are designed for fore-mast installation. By means of power splitters the helix antennas can be combined to form antenna groups of 2 or 4. The antennas have a standard N-connector and are made of non- corrosive aluminum material with all nuts and bolts made of stainless steel.

The Wifi grid dishes are made from casted aluminium and combine a high stability and low wind load for a long endurance of the antennas. The carefully designed parabolic dish offer a gain of 26dBi on 2.4GHz and 31dBi on 5GHz. In contrast to other parabolic dishes these antennas are designed for best performance also on 5GHz.
Due to the split construction of the reflector (90x70cm) the shipping size is very small, very facorable for the shipping ost. A tilt/swivel mount for mast mounting is included. Connector N female.

Proferssional prime focus dished with 45 or 60cm diameter (18 or 21dBi gain). Solid and weatherproof finish. All required mounting hardware (stainless steel) included, connector N female. In contrast to the dish mentioned above these dishes have a linear polarization. This is beneficial in situations where tightly spaced links have to be separated by polarization, attentuation between links can be up to 25dB with different polarization. The radiators can be mounted in 45° steps in respect to the polarization angle.
Tiltmount to mount the prime focus dishes SP45/xx and SP60/xx to a mast, allows tilt ±45°. Replaces the original bracket. Very solid aluminum construction.
Professional Yagi directional antennas, inkl. swivel/tilt mount, suitable for wall or mast mounting. Completely enclosed, makes these antennas insensible against weather. Connector: cable pigtail with N female jack.
Very small patch antenna für 2400 MHz with 8dBi gain. Includes 20cm cable with N jack (female) and wall mount which allows pan/tilt. Suitable for for indoor use to avoid multipath reception due to reflections, unobtrusive coverage of hotspots (office, coffeeshop) indoor and outdoors (waterproof). A mast mount is available separately.
Small patch antenna with 8dBi gain and SMA connector. Comes including a versatile suction cup holder which allows you to mount the antenna on any smooth surface. For example on a window pane - ideal for travellers in a hotel, on conferences or any other temporary locations. The antenna can be rotated on it's arm, covering an angle of at least 180° if necessary, very useful for situations with difficult reception.
The SMA connection is 'in principle' protected against water, still we recommend to use some self amalgating sealing tape for more permanent installations (see WiMo article 23065).
This antenna exists also in a version for UMTS and Wifi 5GHz.

Professional sector antennas for outdoor use. Ideal for coverage of large areas like halls, outdoor areas etc. Horizontal HPBW approx. 70°, connector N jack (female). The directional pattern of these antennas is shaped in a way that the area at the installation point below the antenna is also covered to a certain extent, resulting in a more continous coverage even for antennas mounted in an elevated position. |
