The Radio Mate compact keypad for the Yaesu FT817, FT857 and FT897 enables the user to get the best out of their radio. It has been designed to make many of the common functions quick and easy to use. The keypad does this with a number of fast, effective shortcuts. The keypad is mounted on a sturdy aluminium plate giving it a quality robust feel, enabling it to be used in the field. Requiring no external power, it connects to the 8pin CAT interface of the radio. An LED indicates the current mode, red for the memory mode, green for the direct frequency entry mode and yellow for the modulation mode.

Yaesu's popular FT-857 and FT-897 transceivers are wonders of compact efficiency. These do-anything, go-anywhere transceivers were science fiction just a few years ago, but ham's today are using them in shacks, mobiles and on dxpeditions from the back yard to the top of the world.
About the only problem with these radios is that us hams who are old enough to remember when stuff like this really was science fiction are also old enough to wish that the display was just little bit bigger. As we grow in wisdom and experience, we also grow to depend on bifocals; those tiny little screens are just plain hard to read! Add to that a strong desire to see a real live meter needle bouncing on voice peaks, and you find yourself wishing Yaesu had thought all this through when they designed the radio.

Mobile antenna for FT-847, FT-857, FT-897 and FT-100D (and others), up to date ATAS-120A model.
The well known antennas by Yaesu were designed as car antennas, still they are often used as stationary antennas as well because they are very compact. But then there is no suitable counterpoise, the balcony rail or magnet base are usually not sufficient.
The ATAS counterpoise consists of a solid aluminium ring which is attached to the base of the antenna and can remain attached even when mosing the antenna around. The ring has threads for 8 radial rods, each with a diameter of 4mm. This is no perfect counterpoise, but still efficient enough for portable operations and ease of use. If space allows you can install longer wire radials for the 40m band.
The counterpoise can also be used on a car, for example when the magnet base has not enough capacitive coupling to the chassis.
Ideal for the heavy antenna are bases like 11115.01 and 20029.

The NEDSP-1061 employs the same DSP technology as the basic PCB module. In addition it has an integral microcontroller, connected to a small keyboard assembly. The microcontroller and keyboard provide single button operation of all the module’s functions. The button switches the noise cancellation on/off and changes the DSP noise cancellation level. In addition the unit stores the last used DSP level, so when power is reapplied the unit will default to the last used setting.
Similiar to the NEDSP-1061, but with additional 3W amplifier, ideal for integration into desktop loudspeakers or other devices. Noise reduction switchable in four our eight steps, 35 to 65dB reduction of noise. When turned off the AF is passed through directly. Simply one-button operation, no voice distortion, feedback by beep and flashing LED. 3W output power @4Ω, size 37 x 50mm, the control elements are on a small separate pcb which can be installed nearly anywhere.
Requires 12-18V, includes cable and fuse.

Yaesu FTM-10E
The Yaesu FTM-10E is an exceptionally robust FM mobile transceiver für the 2m and 70cm band. The detachable control unit of the FTM-10E is weatherproof (waterproof, dustproof, IP57) and can be mounted externally, for example on a motor cycle. Integrated into the control unit is a microphone and a powerful speaker, so the control head can be used just like a handheld portable radio. Of course an optional handheld microphone is also available.
The operation of the FTM-10E is designed to be very simple and straightforward, only a few large buttons allow for a fast and secure operation, even under stressful conditions like a sports event.

The FT-7800R provides 50 Watts of power on the 144 Mhz band, and 40 Watts on the 430 MHz, and is designed for simplicity of operation along with high performance in the receiver section. The FT-7800R is ideal for the active Ham who has a need for simplex, repeater, or FM satellite operation on both bands, but without the complication of cross-band repeat capability, which is available on our FT-8800R and FT-8900R models.

Over 1000 Memory Channels
The FT-7800R’s incredible memory channel capacity includes registers for over 1000 channels, each capable of storing a 6-character Alpha-Numeric label. And the memories may be stored in any of the 20 available memory groups; a particular memory channel may also be stored in multiple groups, if desired.
YSK-7800 Remote Mounting Kit (option)
Using the optional YSK-7800 Separation Kit, which contains both cabling and a bracket for the remote front panel, you can mount the FT-7800R’s front panel on the vehicle’s dash board, then stow the radio’s body under the seat or in some other convenient, out-of-the-way location. The cables are approximately 20 feet (6 m) in length.
One-Touch "Hyper Memory" Operation
Five front panel keys allow complete transceiver configuration status to be stored for convenient one-touch recall. So you can set up favorite frequencies in each operating band, including the receive-only bands, then recall them with a single touch of a button!
High Power Output

The FT-1802M is a compact and very robust VHF mobile transceiver by Yaesu. It does offer full 50W power (reducable to 5/10/25W), 221 memories and a receiver from 136 to 174 MHz. The memories can be tagged with alphanumerical texts. A novelty is the password protection of the rig, preventing others from unauthorized use. The FT-1802M is equipped with CTCSS and DCS de/encoder. Another useful addon is the morse code trainer, allwoing you to learn morse with numbers, letter and 5 letter groups in various speeds. The supplied DTMF microphone enables you to use Echolink or similiar systems.
